Appreciating Food Culture

Yogyakarta Trip, 13 - 16 May 2010

Hello, food fanatics..
You will find creativity perks in according to our food trip to Yogyakarta.

Such as : a private lunch prepared by a wonderful woman who still preserves Kraton (Yogyakarta palace) delicate recipes, creative workshop, a visit to Yogyakarta underground dining restaurant (yes, they have it in Bantul), a visit to secret kitchen of Roti Klumbeng (old school home bread), and many more…

Another remarkable perk that you should not miss :

Singgih Kartono, creative designer /owner/ founder of Magno Radio (www.magno-design.com), invited Azanaya friends to visit his creative workshop and experience creativity in Temanggung.

Magno Radio has received multiple international recognitions from design industry for its excellent design. And you what? He makes all of her radio babies in a small village in Kandangan, Temanggung, Central Java.

Singgih Kartono believes in local empowerment (the same like we do) thus he thinks it is the right time to gather people who share same interest in food, inspiration, and cultural appreciation to come to his humble crib and get a sense of self empowerment.

It is a rare opportunity given by him, and hell yeah, we are coming to Kandangan!!!

Since Temanggung is only 1.5 hour from Yogyakarta, we decided to hold a small gastronomy trip to Yogyakarta, Temanggung, and Solo starting from 13 – 16 May 2010 (it is a long holiday).

We limit the number of friends who will join us up to 20 people only.

- Christanti Veronica -
