Interesting Spots at Pasar Petak Sembilan

Chinatown always has a charm! It is a holy destination for true religion of food lovers and the center of all delectable cuisines.

Since the reign of the Dutch East Indies, the area is also known as Chinatown - even the largest in Indonesia - as the majority of traders in Glodok is Tionghoa community. Like most China Town throughout the world, Glodok is a place for delicious hawker center with rows of tempting food and legendary vendors.

Its traditional market sells various household goods, ranging from fresh vegetables, fruits, prayer amenities, and imported food ingredients from China or Malaysia.

Tionghoa people in Jakarta will be visiting this area ahead of the cultural celebrations, such as the Lunar New Year, Peh Cun, or Cap Go Meh.

Certain foods would be worth trying to cajole your tongue.
